The International Institute of Humanitarian Law is pleased to invite you to the booklaunch of its 34th Round Table Proceedings on

"International Humanitarian Law and New Weapons Technologies". Friday 2 July 2012, 12.00 Geneva Centre for Security Policy, WMO/OMM Building, Avenue de la Paix 7bis, Geneva (Switzerland)

The book contains the proceedings of the 34th Sanremo Round Table. It offers a stimulating review of the legal aspect of an array of new weapons and military technologies that have only recently entered the battlefield or that are now being tested with a view to being used for military purposes in the future. These not only include drones, robots and military outer space technologies but also cyber-technology and other devices and technologies, all of which raise important legal questions and humanitarian concerns.
