Le Laboratoire Droit et Changement Social de l’Université de Nantes et le programme de recherche européen Lascaux (Droit – Aliments – Terre), en partenariat avec le Secrétariat permanent international Droits de l’Homme et gouvernements locaux (SPIDH) de Nantes, organisent un colloque intitulé :

Le droit des relations extérieures de l’Union européenne après le traité de Lisbonne

Deux ans après l’entrée en vigueur du traité de Lisbonne, l’objectif de ce colloque est de s’interroger sur la portée des innovations institutionnelles, sur leur apport à la réalisation des objectifs internationaux de l’Union européenne (UE) et, de manière plus générale, sur l’ambition de l’Europe à devenir un acteur majeur du droit international.

Programmé dans un contexte international en profonde mutation générant de nombreuses attentes à l’égard de l’UE, le colloque comporte une dimension institutionnelle et matérielle permettant d’englober la diversité des enjeux internationaux auxquels est confrontée l’UE. Il associe ainsi des enseignants-chercheurs français, européens et non européens relevant de différentes disciplines du droit.

La journée du jeudi 24 novembre s’intéressera à l’Union européenne, acteur en droit international : nouvelles perspectives et limites ? Celle du vendredi 25 novembre à Quels objectifs internationaux pour l’Union Européenne ? (voir programme : lien ci-dessous).

Entre autres intervenants, Emmanuel DECAUX, professeur de droit international à l’Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas, vice-président de la Commission nationale consultative des droits de l’Homme et président du Secrétariat permanent international Droits de l’Homme et gouvernements locaux de Nantes participera à ce colloque. De même que les responsables des structures organisatrices, Eric MONDIELLI (laboratoire Droit et changement social) et François COLLART-DUTILLEUL (programme Lascaux). Jean-Dominique GIULIANI, président de la fondation Robert SCHUMAN, assurera La conclusion des travaux.

Foreign relations law of the European Union after the Treaty of Lisbon

Two years after the Treaty of Lisbon’s entry into force, the purpose of the conference is to consider the scope of the institutional innovations. After the Treaty of Lisbon, has the European Union become a main player of the international law ?

Taking place in a changing international context causing many expectations towards EU, this conference comprises an institutional and material dimension including the variety of the international issues that EU has to deal with. It brings together french academics, high-level europeans and non-europeans from different law branches.

On the 24th of November, the conference will be dealing with the issue : European Union, an international law actor : new prospects and limits ? The next day, it will focus on What international goals for EU ? (see program : please find the link below)

Among others, Emmanuel DECAUX, lecturer in international law for the university of Paris II Panthéon-Assas, vice-president of the National Commission of Human rights and President of the International Permanent Secretariat for Human rights and local governments in Nantes will take part in this conference, as well as the directors of the organizing structures, Eric MONDIELLI(laboratory Law and social change) and François COLLART-DUTILLEUL (Lascaux program). Jean-Dominique GIULIANI, president of the Robert Schuman foundation will conclude the conference.
