It is very important to deconstruct stereotypes in Education, with man and woman, with children. Stereotype we have seen are extremely dramatic and they lead to misperception of the reality. Since I was a child, actually I remember reading Kafka’s letter to his father. It was extremely important moment of knowledge about what it means to be obliged inside fixed roles. If you remember boys who did not want to swim, to be strong, to be a normal person or something else. When I was a small child I was always giving dolls and I was used to keep them to destroy or to kill them. “Sorry but it is true”. I was taking away arms and legs. And with my little friend we will do funeral to them. At the moment I did know I was doing, but now at this times I know what I was doing and what it meant. I was trying to destroy stereotypes which they are putting all of us in. I think you work is very important, all the work you are doing it. As, I am the president of development community education, is fundamental as relieve, for example, the war in developing countries, to make a change for woman and man. Education is a very important tool that we have to support because without education, without the destruction of stereotypes and fixed roles we cannot evolve. Man who are making war and woman (who sometimes support war as well)... I am sorry but I have to leave. I had informed organisers of my little time. Before we were discussing project in Palestine in Gaza an it is so important to help education - through Canaan Institute - when we see other stereotypes on television showing Palestinian only wearing masks or shooting in the air... ( we have the experience told by Jean-Marie MICHEL that Canaan have also to destroy stereotype) every where not only for young people. It is incredible what you are doing.
