More than twenty activist volunteers and salaried employees mobilize every day in affiliated member organizations of the FICEMEA across the globe.

Volunteer organizations and cooperatives are an integral part of the social economy ; all are attached to the idea of working towards the general interest of the society in which they live.

Their organizations aim above all to mobilize both youth and adults in the fields of education and training as well as social and culturel action as a result of their activist engagement. Thus,more than 100,000 persons, adults or children,directly benefit every year.

Integrated into the social and activist economy, they mobilise varied resources. In many regions of the world, they benefit from subsidies and aids that complete and strengthen resources generated on their own.
